Anodize
Type II Sulfuric Anodizing
Anodizing has long been used to extend the life of aluminum parts. Anodizing creates an oxide layer that is very hard and wear resistant.
The Anodize Advantage
Anodizing can help the life, as well as the look, of your final product.
Not Sure if Anodizing is Right For Your Part?
If you have any questions or would just like to learn more about anodizing give us a call or send us an email. We will be pleased to help with any problems or questions that you may have.
From standard clear anodizing to custom colors, Swain Plating can provide the final finish you need.
Cost Efficiency of Anodize
Since anodizing uses chemicals in order to convert the outer most edge of an aluminum piece, there are no extra metal costs in this process. Parts that are to be anodized can be placed in very close proximity to one another on the racks, therefore reducing cost per piece.
At Swain Plating we are always trying to improve and expand our coating capabilities. We are curently designing a new Type III hard coat anodize line.
